Owned and operated by Brad Ritter, Drifted Hook Guide Service specializes in smallmouth bass float trips in the Susquehanna and Juniata River watersheds. From early spring and pre spawn small tributary floats in a framed raft to the Susquehanna and Juniata River floats in a Hyde Drift boat during summer and fall, all of our trips are designed to provide the best experience for our clients.

A typical smallmouth float trip will begin in the early morning fishing topwater. As bass are feeding during midday we will fish subsurface streamers and minnows, then moving back to topwater in the early evening. Float trips will also be modified based on water and air temperature to possibly fish the first hour of dark when daytime temperatures are extremely high.

All necessary gear including rods, reels, and flies are included in your trip. Full day floats include lunch.
