Our Boats
Here at Drifted Hook, we offer a range of boats that allow us to access various types of water and provide diverse fishing experiences for our clients.
From early spring and pre-spawn small tributary floats in a framed raft to the Susquehanna and Juniata River floats in a Hyde Drift boat during summer and fall, and run-and-gun-style fishing in our brand-new Hog Island skiff, we have the boat to meet your needs.
Hog Island 16’ Skiff
• 16’ “Rotomolded” Polymer construction designed for ultra- shallow water stability and fishability.
• Capacity for (2) two anglers
• Outfitted with 40 hp jet motor to get to fishing area quickly
• Includes Minn Kota Ulterra trolling motor with auto-deploy as well as spot lock and “drift mode” to keep clients “in the zone”
• Also equipped with 10’ Sawyer oars to allow guide to row like a drift boat to be able to float stretches of optimal fishing locations while being stealthy.
• Equipped with Helix 7 fish finder which includes side imaging, down imaging, and CHIRP sonar
• Elevated casting deck.
• 54” wide with raised gunwales for a super stable large fishing platform.
• Navigation lighting for low light hours fishing.
• Rod storage to protect gear.
• This boat is utilized during early spring and fall when fish begin to move into winter holes. This platform allows us to target prime areas without having to float areas that are unproductive during these times of the year.
• This also the boat we utilize when clients are looking for a musky trip in the fall.
Hyde Low Pro XL 16’ Fiberglass Drift Boat
• 16’ Professional Drift Boat
• Capable of fishing (2) two anglers
• Secure rod storage
• Swivel seating as well as secure casting braces for standing and optimal casting
• Wide, stable casting platform
• Navigational lighting for fishing during low light hours.
• Utilized during most of spring / summer / fall season on larger rivers.
Flycraft Framed Raft
• 12’ Framed raft
• Capable of fishing up to (2) two anglers.
• Utilized on small tributaries during pre – spawn fishing
• Also utilized during extremely low flows on rivers
• Secure rod storage to protect rods and equipment
• Swivel seating as well as lean bars for optimal casting while standing.
• A great way to experience small streams while floating.
